Week 8

Feb 25th - Well, I now have another Magpie who visits me for a feed. I call this one Hoppy because he(?) has a crippled, withered left leg and hops around on one leg. Poor little thing looks a bit drunk trying to balance.

Feb 24th - I have a number of plants around the house and this one has been going very well for quite a number of years now - a lot better than the poor, thirsty plants outside!

Feb 23rd - We were in Myer today and I was astounded at the Easter Egg displays - it's still February!!

Feb 22nd - Another sensational day and the roses are positively spectacular. They are a spectacular sight!

Feb 21st - The venue of our seminar is truly beautiful - an old mansion that is in extraordinary condition.

Feb 20th - Today was the first session of our own seminar - the entry to our room is stunning!

Feb 19th - I am always fascinated by the giant palms at the Chadstone Shopping Centre Food Hall - they grow in little plots of earth and must need alot of fertiliser and TLC! The little sparrows flit around, in and out of the trees picking up the crumbs left by the diners.

Week 7

Feb 18th - This is my Vision Board for 2009. I have it framed and hanging up on the wall - now to keep believing and visualising!

Feb 17th - Here is my Siddhartha Gautama Buddha statue that sits on the mantelpiece in my office/scrap area. I just love him (although it reminds me of a 'her'). Apparently, the Siddhartha Gautama Buddha transmits the inner peace that comes from self-contemplation. I think I need to do more of that!

Feb 16th - These are a cute pair of flat black shoes that I bought for Grace last year - she never wore them so I claimed them and they are so comfortable to wear!

Feb 15th - We travelled to Gippsland for family visits today and part of our journey was through the burnt out bush near Mirboo North. We stopped to take some photos of the utter destruction ... and it was an eerie, still energy out in the bush!

Feb 14th - Grace's 15th birthday party! I thought she looked amazing in her stunning dress - the only dress she usually wears is a school one!

Feb 13th - With all the smoke the moon tonight was blood red. it looked amazing! Apparently the sunset was just as incredible but whilst that was happening we were in the cinema watching Slumdog Millionaire. Loved it, an amazing film!

Feb 12th - My poor bike is sitting outside getting dusty! It won't fit in our excuse for a shed. The only good thing about no rain is that it's not getting wrecked! I like bike riding but dislike the traffic. We need to get onto a bike path where we can relax and enjoy the ride. The only bike I have gotten on recently is the one in the gym!

Week 6

Feb 11th - Grace's 15th birthday and we celebrated at 'Thank God It's (TGI) Friday' - her choice! The meals are quite yummy here and we all left satiated!

Feb 10th - Our crazy cat sleeps anywhere! I caught her asleep with her paw attached to the base of the armchair. Scratching must be very tiring work!

Feb 9th - I've bought Gypsy some new cat food - it's meant to be all natural but she picked it out of her bowl separating it from the other food that was mixed in with it!

Feb 8th - Rob & I spend one day together each week (away from computers and work). Today we visited Mornington Peninsula and enjoyed a tasty lunch in beautiful surrounds at one of the wineries. We did that after visiting the sand sculptures at Frankston. Very impressive.

Feb 7th - I didn't take this photo but I felt I needed to put something in about the horror of today's events. This photo made the biggest impact on me because of the sheer magnitude of the wall of smoke and flames.

This is my photo for the 7th - I'd spent the day at Wendy's scrapping and keeping cool from the 47 degree heat with the curtains closed in an airconditioned house.

Feb 6th - I love our big lights that flank our driveway. They are almost regal!

Feb 5th - We've finally got Grace happily to school. Must teenagers always write on themselves!!
