Week 30

July 29th - Gracie's computer is a bit slow so she likes to use either mine or Rob's laptop. Once she's on it, I know it is gone for quite a while! Well it does make me do something else!

July 28th - These Green Bags are great - especially when they are loaded up (and they can fit lots in when packed properly). They are so much easier to handle than the plastic shopping bags - I just have to rmember to get them out of the car for ALL my shopping.

July 27th - Rob had his special outfit on for a presentation. The shirt and tie are a soft baby blue colour, which I just love and he looked very spunky!

July 26th - I have Rose Quartz and Amethyst next to my computer. The Amethyst is to combat the negative energy from the computer and the Rose Quartz is for love.

July 25th - I'm so tired of the clutter of paperwork! I started to re-organise the office today. I am determined to get on top of it - and keep on top of it!!

July 24th - The Richmond Hill Cheese Shop is an amazing place - great restaurant and a quaint cheese room next door (musty odours and all).

July 23rd - Dinner with our girls at Crown Casino. While waiting for Zoe, we had a glass of wine in one of the bars at the Casino entrance. Rob and I suggested that the company who has the contract to keep all the lights working would be on a very good deal!

Week 29

July 22nd - I forget to check the coupons at the back of the supermarket receipts. A program on TV (about saving money) reminded me to see what savings I could make.

July 21st - Genmaicha Sencha and Chai teas are so different but I love them both. The Chai is best in Winter and the Genmaicha is lovely in summer.

July 20th - Thes are my favourite perfumes that I received as presents (thanks Nell!). Issy Miyake and Flower by Kenzo. Makes me feel special.

July 19th - Our venue had such beautiful colours on the walls - it was like sitting in a rainbow - healing as well as inspiring.

July 18th - This Salt Lamp was glowing beautifully in our venue. It is such a healing and nurturing glow - just love it.

July 17th - The cartridges from the computer are just such a big waste of our resources. Theer are recyclers for these but it's still such a waste.

July 16th - Grace has been inspired by Masterchef Australia and decided to make some caramel apples - very tasty!

Week 28

July 15th - My bling is kept on a rack (for belts I think) in the ensuite. It hangs over the shower glass and creates a lovely effect when the sun shines in the window in the morning.

July 14th - A double rainbow over our house at dusk was a spectacular sight. In fact we had other rainbows that were just under the main one. I've never seen this before.

July 13th
- Another of our heaters to keep the busy end of the house warm - the central heating struggles to get down there! Arrrgh!

July 12th - A mess on the dining table from my day of scrapping - Rob's been using my craft desk so I had to sit in the family room. Was able to watch TV though!

July 11th - A visit to South Gippsland and I meant to take a photo whilst the sun was shining but forgot so here's a dark (and not too good) photo taken at dusk. My camera struggles with pictures of scenery.

July 10th - I love this little bit of handicraft made by Princess Sophie during her stay here. It grace's the top of my office drawers. Sooooo cute!

July 9th - Just the usual meal preparation! I made a Roast Lamb meal and it was yummy! Nothing like a roast on a cold night.

Week 27

July 8th - No wonder I struggled to get out of bed this morning! I left the house at about 9 this morning to go to gym only to find that I needed to get a container of water to loosen the ice that had formed on the car. My fingers felt quite chilly too!

July 7th - Purses are funny things ... I am a visual and love to own things that look good but when it comes to my purse I tend to be more practical and go for one that is not too big, is sturdy and fits all my paraphernalia (bank cards, loyalty cards, business cards etc.) in it.

July 6th - It seemed really strange going out to a dinner and dance on a Monday night but that's what we did! The music was great and Rob and I danced till the end of the entertainment (not bad after having a gym session this morning!)

July 5th - It's been a big, big week and my bed was so inviting tonight. Freshly laundered, aromatic sheets, a thick doona and my own pillow ... zzzzzzzz

July 4th - What would I do without my clothes horse? There are days when the washing just doesn't dry on the line and it needs extra airing time overnight (or for a couple of days if I'm too lazy to fold it up!)

July 3rd - A trip to 'Disney on Ice - Princess Wishes' was a magical and delightful experience with my two Princesses Ella & Sophie. They were mesmerised and utterly entertained! Can't say I was bored! A great afternoon and end to the girl's holidays in Melbourne.

July 2nd - Theoretically I didn't take this photo, but my computer did! Gracie & Katie were playing with it and experimenting with Photo Booth. I liked this picture they took so here it is!

Week 26 - Halfway mark!

July 1st - Back into the city in the afternoon for a visit the the Melbourne Aquarium (or newquarium as the girls call it!) The penguin display was magnificent with lots of action and movement, much to the girls delight.

June 30th
- We headed into the city for a catch up lunch and then took the girls for a play around Federation Square. There was a Folk Band playing and Sophie couldn't resist having a dance! She was so gorgeous!

June 29th - These are magnifying glasses that I use when I can't find my own - and I can't do without any glasses (actually I can but it's a real stretch and squint!).

June 28th - Back up the highway to pick up the two princesses for a city holiday. Thank goodness it's an easy trip with the freeway all the way to the border.

June 27th
- Lots of excitement for today - grace has competed in her second Grand Final in two seasons and the team won! Two trophies in a row - what a great effort. She played very well too!

June 26th
- I know, here she is again! I turn my back and voila, Gypsy has made herself comfortable on top of my newly dried washing! She is a crazy (or perhaps self-nurturing) cat!

June 25th
- Learning Photoshop is proving to be good - it's a pity I haven't had as much practise in between as I would have liked! My scrapping is almost non-existent at the moment!
